Mohammad Jamshidi gets MVP of the Week award for WASL

Experienced Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-1991, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Gorgan and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 31-year old had the game-high 31 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Gorgan in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Al Naft (#6, 1-2) with 41-point margin 110-69. Gorgan is placed at 3rd position in WASL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Gorgan will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Jamshidi had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Gorgan, through which he has constantly improved. Jamshidi has impressive league stats. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Antwaine Wiggins (203-F-1988, agency: BIG) of Al Naft. Wiggins impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Naft lost that game 69-110 to Gorgan (2-1).
